(Can 50 cl) Clear, dark amber - quite pretty actually - with a small, off-white head. Vague, roasted caramel aroma. Flavour of slightly sweet caramel on a rounded, malty body. A bit too carbonated. 291005

(Bottle 50 cl) Fully golden with a small, white head. Malty aroma. Incredibly thin and watery with a slightly sulphurous edge. Useless. 291005

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear pilsener golden with a weak, malty aroma. Clear and pure, dominated by malt with a dry finish without much bitterness. Quite a decent lager. 291005

[At Fynske Øldage 2005] An amber to brown beer with an OK off-white head. The aroma is roasted and nutty, while the flavor is malty with nutty notes combined with caramel. But the body is disappointingly thin. Drinkable, but boring.

Full gold colour. Aroma is akin to wet hay, with hints of bready malts (all Polish malt is bready, apparently). Flavour is malt-accented with a slight creaminess and a little bit of background hop. Watery finish.

Hazy pale golden colour with a super-dense white head. Aroma of stale hops, old malt, a bit of metal and some slight citrus qualities. Light-bodied; Very minimal taste with malt and water being most prevalent. Aftertaste is just as subtle, only having a slight hoppiness noticeable...nothing else at all! Overall, this one is worth passing up, there are much better Polish Lagers out there-try Okocim Zagtoba for just one alternative! I bought this 500 mL bottle ("Golden Denar") at Beers of the World in Rochester, New York and sampled it on 12-December-2003.
