Can at chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig ’11. It pours hazy straw yellow, with a thin foamy white head and average carbonation. The nose is butter, hay, lemon, sweet malt and white bread. The taste is soap, chalk, cereal and weak lemon, with a dull finish of barely anything....

Can at ChrisO’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2011. Cloudy gold pour with a foamy, white head. Big dough aroma, light sugars. Weak flavor, plenty of dough, though, more light sugar. Light bodied with average carbonation. Mild sweet finish, very mild toast and dough. Pleasant drinking if a bit basic.

One shouldn’t frown at Finnish attempts to make hefeweizen, but this one has way too much hefe. Hell, it even looks like sewer water. Shame.

Draught at One Pint Pub, Helsinki. On July 21, 2011Clear pale golden color, white head. Malty, metallic, grainy taste. Malty sweet scent. Moussy mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Sweetish and malty aroma with metal, roastiness and some coffee. Flavour is rather malty with some roastiness and coffee. Dry finish. One of the best Finnish dunkels.
