Can 50 cl. Courtesy of oh6gdx. Comes as Talviolut (LIDL). Clear dark brown with an orange hue and a dense and beige head leaving some laces. Somewhat roasted malt and burned caramel in the nose. Medium body, roasted malt, a little nuts and pumpernickel. Bitterness in the finish from both hops and malt. Quite decent. 090609

50 cL can as Lidl Talviolut, courtesy of Papsoe. Pours dark brown with a small orange glare and a small tan head. Light roasted and breadish aroma with a hint of corn. Sweet, roasted bread, light liqourice and caramel. Medium to light bodied. Lasting roasted malt impression and a hint of liqourice into the far finish.

Bottle from Tbone, thanks! Deep dark brown color, hazy. Licorice and caramel in the aroma. Sweet, caramelly flavor with apple and licorice. Sugary, sticky mouthfeel. Laurel. Not my taste.

Bottle from Tbone, thanks! Amber color. Grainy, bready aroma with the slightest hint of cinnamon. Grainy sweet flavor with cake dough and mashed potatoe (!). The slightest hint of nutty bitterness coming up in the aftertaste.

Bottled (tnx oh6gdx, BB 06/2009). Dark nut brown color, small off-white head. Toasted, a bit grassy nose. Crisp mouthfeel. Toasted caramel malty flavor with grainy and grassy notes - cardboard and coffee. Mostly dry, but has faint caramel sweetness. Less drinkable than other Nokian’s dunkels. Cheap feeling in it.
