Draught(?)@HBF2005. Very pale colour, not much head. Sweetish sour pear aroma with some hints of apple. Flavour is pear, some slight sugary notes. Mediumdry palate.

Can, 4.5%. Citric aroma, a bit like Brett, but not really as pleasant. Dark brown colour, seems clear. Funky citric flavour, again Brett-like, but not good.

50 cL can. Pours deep brown with a diminished tan head. Mild fruity and acidic with a smooth fruity flavour aroma. Flavour is mild fruity and light roasted malty with a mild yeasty note. Light smoked and brettish note. Dryand malty into the finish.

Biggish beige head. Barely translucent deep dark red body. Earthy roasty caramel aroma with notes of cinnamon and wild berries as well as faint hop traces. Dry roasty earthy cinnamon taste with a background sweetness. Hoppy licorice notes. Dry roasty earthy wild berry aftertaste with chocolatey notes. Nice, flavourful, and harmonic. Medium coarseish beige head. Hazy brownish dark red body. Malty papery aroma with cinnamon and wild berry notes. Estery, earthy notes, too. Dry earthy cinnamon taste with roasty malty notes. Some black chocolate, too. Clean, harmonic palate. A bit astringent. Dry estery hoppy aftertaste lingers. Nice, and quite unusual, since it’s so dry. (0.33l bottle, Alko, Helsinki.)

(Draught at Hilpeä Hauki on 2008-08-07) Dark brown and clear. Tan-coloured medium-sized head. Malts and metallic aromas in nose. Full-bodied palate with lot of carbonation. Liquorice, metallic aromas and bitterness in harsh and even burnt-flavoured taste. Not good.
