Bottled. A hazy light yellow beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet and quite cardboardy, combined with light notes of citrus. The flavor is sweet malty again with notes of cardboard, and light notes of citrus, leading to a light bitter end.

Bottle. Dark brown color with a large brown fair lasting head. Aroma is malty, roasted, coffe, chocolate, and some notes of rye ?. Flavor is sweet and dry with roasted malt with some coffe / chocolate taste that stay for very longtime. Harmless and easy.

(33 cl bottle thanks to oh6gdx) Pitch black with a huge brown lasting head. Small some acidic scent. Spritzy small swet taste. Slightly burnt aftertaste. Spritzy mouthfeel. Low bitterness.4/5/5/2/10=2.6Rerate on August 3, 2008. Bottle brought home from Åland by a friend.Black with brown head. Roasted and sweet malty scent and taste. (Bottle 33 cl) Pours a handsome, clear, dark brown with a warm, reddish glow. Small, creamy, beige head. Aroma of roasted malt. Medium body, notes of roasted malt and a coffeeish edge. Almost no bitterness. 211006

Bottled (BB 05/2007). Opaque black/muddy brown, decent tan head. Rye bread, toasted malts and yeast in the nose. Crisp carbonation. Burned malty flavor, perhaps not so roasted than in Nokian Jouluolut and is not so sweet than Pääsiäisolut. Quite simple Schwarzbier with long toasted aftertaste.

Bottled. Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is caramel, smoothly roasted malts and slight hints of rye. Flavour is roasted malts, slight alcohol and a longlasting hint of coffee. Slight caramellish hints attached to the coffee. Slightly watery, otherwise ok.

An opaque hazy brown beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty again with dominating notes of caramel. And inspite of the 5.2% ABV I find the body thin. I find it somewhat boring.

Bottled. Pale golden with a decent white head. Weak aroma of malt and hops, and some citrus notes. Weak flavor too, with malt and fruity hops. Some orange notes as well. Medium body. A decent pale lager. (060921)
