(Draught at brewpub, Lahti, on 2008-10-25) Amber. Hazy, Medium sized white quite quickly disappearing head. Light smoke and tar aroma in nose. Almost full bodied and bit watery palate with medium carbonation. Smoke, hint of tar, sweetness and bitterness in taste. Smoke and light bitterness in aftertaste.

Smallish offwhite head does not last. Orange body with small particles. Fruity spicy cloves aroma with cardamom and faint citric notes. Very harmonic. Dry-sweet citric fruity taste with yeasty notes. Kind of thin-bodied, and taste is a bit short. Warm, sharpish mouthfeel. Vaguely acidic citric fruity aftertaste. Nice. (0.75l bottle, Alko Arkadia, Helsinki.)

Medium darkish beige head doesn’t last. Deep red barely translucent hazy body. Sugary fruity malty aroma with plum notes. Sweet fruity plum taste with some roasty vinegary acidity which ruins it for me. Thin-bodied. Dry dried fruit aftertaste with roasty licorice notes. Probably infected. Drainpour. (0.75l bottle, Arkadia Alko, Helsinki.)

Small white head quickly disappears. Amber body. Smoky apple and caramel aroma. Dry-sweet fruity smoky apple taste with caramelly charcoal notes. Mild, balanced, harmonic. Dry dusty grainy smoky aftertaste. Body is thin and delicate. Very nice! (0.1l taster draft at EBF ’08.)

Draught, 5.0% at EBF08. Weak smoke aroma. Clear dark amber colour. Big stable creamy tan head. Good smoked flavour, smoky and nice. Some burnt wood, hint of ham.

From tap. Pours hazy yellow to orange with a creamy white head. Aroma is classic banana estery and wheaty with a light wheat note. Wheaty and banana to orange fruity flavoured. Medium dry. Light acidic touch into the finish.

From tap. Pours clear and golden orange with a creamy white head. Aroma is smoked and slight plastic like aroma. Smoked and towards meady malt base flavour with a mild acidic note. Smoked and dry into the far finish. Good one.

Draught at the brewpub. On the house. Sweet and grassy hop aroma. Hazy dark amber colour. Small stable tan head. The flavour starts off with some bitterness, then reveals a high amount of grassy and citric aroma hops, then some maltiness, dark malts. the aroma hops are a bit overdone in my opinion, and are getting quite sour. 636315
