Good, if shortlived off-white head over totally cloudy ginger-coloured beer. Stinks of flowery coriander; surprise, surprise. How Belgian! Even some Hansaplast More Hansaplast (Band-aid?) in the taste, with mint, coriander, fake and real citrus, slightly peppery. Jumble, and unbalanced, fake Belgian. Quite refreshing, true, inevitably light despite the 6.5ABV. I wonder what "Vauhtiville" means - if it is vaudeville, this is spot-on. Thanks to the Suomi rating crew!

Huge dark beige head over cola-coloured beer. Quite malty nose, dark malts, sugar, liquorice, green leaves. tastes rather like a brown sugar in water solution, but with a nice dry finish, bark spices, but not hoppy nor bitter enough to be called either. In the end, it gets even quite sweet, but paired, warming up, with an not unnice raw mushroom flavour. Light bodied, slightly slick and eventually qutie watery. I’m generous here. Really sad about the wateriness, the too humble flavours are nice. Thanks to oh6gdx and sayravai!

Draught@Teerenpeli, Helsinki
Dark ruby color, creamy mocha head. Nicely toasted nose with some sweetness and licorice. Crisp carbonation, served too cold also. Very clean palate (opposite what Seppo wrote) - in the meaning that this is not "craft beer -like", not "microbrewish". Light toasted breadyness and some caramel flavors which are quickly fading away. Some hops in the aftertaste. This is not bad but brewed too much "for the masses". Typical middle-on-the-road Teerenpeli-stuff.

Bottled, swing top 0,75 ltr (BB 03/2008)
Hazy orange color, vanishing white head. Aroma of bubblegum, coriander, citrus and wheat. Medium-bodied. Sour, citrusy palate. Fruity wit, orange dominates the flavor with coriander, some underlying fruit sweetness, wheat and oat. Carbonation picks up in the finish. I like Vauhtiville’s combination of classic wit bier spices and orangy fruityness, also use of oat is interesting. Propably this beer is best drinked very fresh, before it becomes too sour.

Draught at the brewpub, Vuorikatu/Helsinki
Dark amber to brown color. The caramel flavor is dominant, there is a pleasant touch of smoked malt; the body has a good structure, but much less sticky than other doppelbocks; it shows some alcohol.
