Draught. Amber colour, small off-white head. Fruity, yeasty (barnyardish) and malty aroma. Flavour is weird barnyard meets sweet malts. Hoppy finish. Very sweet for a bitter, but a good try anyway. Could do with more hops.

Draught. Copper coloured, small head. Sweet malts, caramel and rye in aroma. Quite the same in flavour, but the caramel is a lot weaker. Not much aftertaste. Quite rich carbonation.

Draught @HBF2006
Copper brown, small off-white head. Mixed aroma of rye and barley, some hops thrown in. Flavor is dominated by rye and ash. Hoppy-malty finish. Interesting rye beer.

Had this at the Teerenpeli Brewpub Helsinki 03-03-05. A very refreshing Pilsner, nice golden colour, small white head, some bitterness persists throughout but overall a bit light bodied.

Draught. Pitch black, almost opaque, small brown head. Aroma sweet malty with some roasted hints. Flavour quite the same with has even stronger burnt/smoky notes. Some weird sweet flavour is also there, I couldn’t determine what.

Bottled. Dark brown with red notes. Ok beige head. Pleasant, mostly roastad malty aroma. Flavor is of roasted malt and coffee. Bitterness coming slowly. Nice dry bitterness in the fin(n)ish. Medium body. Overall pleasant, but I can’t say it gives me the christmas feeling the name on the label, Juhlaolut Laiskajaakko, refers to. (060122) Not a re-rate, just a comment: I learned today that Juhlaolut means "celebration beer" and not "christmas beer" as I thought. Did not influence my original rating, though, so my rating is un-changed. (060124)

Draught. Black/dark brown colour, with small beige head. Sweet barnyardish aroma with perfumes and caramel completing. Flavour is malty and also some hints of cooked vegetables. Some weak roast is also there. More dunkelish than porterish in my opinion. Dissappointment from Teerenpeli...

Draught @Teerenpeli, Helsinki
Amber brown, not much head. Sweet lemony hoppy aroma. Carbonated, crisp, medium-bodied, sweetish malty, some rye in the aftertaste, but I have sampled more ryeish "non rye lagers" than this one.

Draught
Hazy orange color, very small white head. Fruity apricot aroma. Medium-bodied. Apricot fruityness which finishes to dry mouthfeel. Refreshing, easy to drink summer brew.

Draught. Hazy yellow colour with mediumsized white foamy head. Fruit and yest in aroma. Fresh fruity and yeaty flavour. Oily palate. One of the most refreshing summerbeers I’ve had so far. Very good one!
