Aroma is moderate malty, moderate hoppy, grass, grapefruit, orange. Flavor is moderate sweet and modeate to heavy bitter with a long to average duration. Bottle, shared by Papsoe. It’s a hazy, yellow beer with a small, white head. The aroma is hoppy citrusy, with pine cones and some pale malts. Sweet, resiny and citrusy flavor with a nice bitterness. Medium body. Bitter finish. A very quenching and refreshing beer, lacking on balance, but done in this way, it’s perfectly ok. (090514)

Bottle (Helsinki Beer Festival 2009) - Dark brown in colour. Fruity, roasted and slightly hoppy aroma . Fruity and slightly hoppy taste with grapefruit and chocolate,. Enjoyable.

Draught (Helsinki Beer Festival 2009) - Very dark brown in colour, with some red tinges. Roasted and slightly fruity aroma. Roasted taste with coffee, chocolae and a hint of hops.

Draught (St Urho’s Pub Sahti Days 2009, Helsinki) - Hazy brown/red. Musty aroma with a hint of malt. Banana and a medicinal element in the taste. Sweet and ever so slightly bitter finish with more hints of banana.

Bottle. Rich mahogony beer with a cream colored head. Juniper and malt aroma. Rich toffee flavor with juniper spice. Medium bodied. Toffee and juniper lingers. Well balanced. Somewhat refreshing.

Draught@HBF2009. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is hops, tropical fruits, mild grassyness as well as some herbal notes. Flavour is fruity hops, some herbal notes, grassyness and mild yeastyness as well.

Draught@Villi Wäinö, Helsinki. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruity and grassy hops with some yeasty notes. Flavour is quite much the same in a nice balance. Easy to drink.
