Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of straw, and a light acidity. The flavor is sweet malty combined with notes of straw, leading to a slightly bitter end.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of tbone_. Slightly hazy golden with a dense, white head. Sweetish, fruity and floral aroma. Medium body with sweetish, lightly perfumy notes of malt. Dry, lightly hoppy finish - yet with an underlying sweetness. 230407

Hazy blond color. The aroma has some citrus fruits, malt, yeast; strange. Some malt flavor, good hopping, but too much yeast taste. A bit meaty at the end.

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Clear ruby, small head. Unusual strawberry aroma. Fairly sweet with clean rounded mouthfeel and light-medium body. Doughy malt, hay and dark cherries domintes. Finishes with average bitterness. Quality beer, as expected from Huvila.

Bottled (bought from K-Extra Oliivi, Lauttasaari, Helsinki) (BB 04/2007)
This is a Christmas brew from the micro brewery of Savonlinna. Name means "Good Thomas". Thomas is celebrated every year the 21st of December and it is said that "Christmas arrives with Good Thomas". Red ruby color, nice creamy off-white head and lace. Lightly hoppy and nutty aroma with hints of horse blanket. Medium-bodied with crisp carbonation in the beginning. Good nutty malty palate, mild citrusy English hops. Mild hoppy and malty aftertaste. Suprisingly full for being only 4.1%. No Christmas connection found ...

Bottle - Bruxellensis Festival. Dark chestnut with beige head. Great malty/ red/dark fruits on the aroma. Great malt/hop mix in the mouth. Rich flavours. great recreation of an ESB. Perfect balance between tasty malt and spicey hop.

Draught (8.0%). Dark nutbrown, hazy colour, no head to mention. Aroma of juniper and sweet malts. Flavour is sweet juniper, malts and caramel. Very smooth, but at the same time a bit "drawn-back", it could be a bit more aggressive. Hides it’s ABV well though.
