(Bottle) Dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with dark bread, wort, caramel, treacle-toffee, dried figs, prunes, orange peel, red berries and a touch of apricot marmalade. Malty taste with notes of caramel, wort, dark bread, treacle-toffee, orange peel, apricot marmalade and a mild spicy bitterness in a vinous and warming finish. Almost full body, sweet. Tasty, warming and quite well balanced winter warmer. Nice one.

Dark golden, a bit cloudy with small white head. Light malty, hints of berryish maybe? and earthy hops in the nose. Light-bodied. Sweetish malty, light herbal hops, Sorachi Ace nor red currant juice aren't very strong in the flavour. Easy, tastes less gimmicky than specs indicate.

From tap at Maltainen Metso, 24.7.21. Poured almost clear and golden in color. Grapefruity bite in flavor, not much aroma noticeable, mostly malt. Bitter. Maybe not the most sessionable beer out there.

(Keg at Bruuveri, 20210528) The beer clear and deep reddish brown. Its head was medium, nearly white and it lasted long. Aroma had earth, grass, malts and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were earth, grass, caramel, molasses, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste had toasty notes, malts and bitterness. A tasty malty brew with sweet notes. Balanced.
