The beer we brew is the result of careful craftsmanship. We use carefully selected hops and malt, ancient grains and clean, local water.

Huvila beers were previously brewed by ex-brewpub Panimoravintola Huvila (-2009).

500ml can, thanks to Finn for sharing. Clear amber-reddish body. Fawn-coloured head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Quite inviting dried fruity aromas. Mixed taste of caramel malts and dried fruits. Mid-sweet grainy finish. Pretty decent. (Tromsø 15.10.2019).

Bottle kindly shared by Finn. Remaining fawn-coloured head to a coal black body. Laces well. Cocoa smell with nuts, promising. Smooth taste profile of chocolate, cocoa, nuts and dark bread. Rounded roasted endnotes, not overly sweet. Fine depth. Well made porter. (Shared with Finn and djoeye, session at Finn's place, Tromsø 14.10.2019).

Delt med djoeye og Rune på Nerstranda. Svart. Høyt mokkafarget skum som daler sakte. Aroma av melkesjokolade. Smaken laktose & sjokolade. God - men uvariert.

I feel like there’s a really good beer lingering underneath, but it does not taste like a world beer award best belgian dark winner. Mouthfeel is a little thin. But i think it might be oxidized or the taplines are bad here. Bruuveri Helsinki

Many thanks to japppp. Intense deep chocolate coffee beginning. Deep roast, grain and very dense and rich. Intense concentrated espresso and chocolate. Deep. sticky and fantastic dark stuff.

Cask at Black Door. Clear copper colour, steady beige head. Grass, grain in the nose. Light-bodied, smooth. Grass, caramalt, bitter finish. Sessionable.
