Iso-Kallan Panimo was founded in 2013 in the heart of the Finnish Lake region, in Kuopio.
Our Brewery produces beers, long drinks and lemonades. We get Inspiration for our products from the huzzle and buzzle of the world as well as the laid-back attitude of the Savo region.
If you find yourself in Kuopio, come and visit our store & taproom. During the summer we also have a lovely terrace where you can enjoy a fresh pint in the sun.

Smell of yeast, some citrus and spices. Cloudy yellow colour, very high white head. Aroma of grain, pepper, herbs, some hops, some yeast. Light body, dry palate. Lightly sour. Wild carbon. Fresh. A very good saison.

Draught @Brewdog Helsinki. Poured dark brown color with a thin white head. Aroma has grains, some dark fruits, plums. Flavor has hops, dark fruits, bread. Lacks something.

Smell of oat, tar, some vanilla. Black colour, high dark brown head. Aroma of vanilla, oat, tar. Surprisingly light body, slightly oily texture, lively carbon. Medium sweet, slightly bitter. Could be more robust.

A colablack beer, a head is beige and quite small. Aroma has roastiness of coffee, liquirice and some smoke. Taste has roastiness, coffee, some sweetness nad nice bitterness. Almost medium bodied, a more strenght body would be better but nice even now. Tasteful beer.

Draught @ Malja, Kuopio. Pours pitch black with a smooth head. Aroma of licorice, rye, roasty malts, coffee and chocolate. Taste is sweet, syrupy and slightly roasty with some licorice, rye and hints of milky chocolate and lactic notes. Finish is milky, sweetish and slightly roasty with some licorice and chocolate. Quite milky for an IS.

Draught. Hazy ambery brown colour with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma is dry fruits, mild spices, alcohol and some diacetyl with toffee to it. Flavour is toffee, some grains, toasted malts, a bit leathery and spiced notes as well as some dry dark fruit sweetness. Mild diacetyl in the flavour as well.

Draught@SOPP Helsinki 2016. Amber colour, small head. Aroma is quite strongly hopped, some earth, wood and mild sweet malts to it. Flavour is fruity, floral, some tart wood and mild earth with mild bready malts to it. Strange tartness to it.
