On tap at Suuret oluet - pienet panimot 2016, Helsinki. Close to black with a decent, beige head. Aroma of roasted malt with notes of dark fruits, caramel and berries. Some slightly earthy notes too. Miltei musta olut runsaalla ja hyvin tiiviillä beigellä vaahdolla. Kaunis olut. Tuoksu on leipäinen, paahteinen ja salmiakkinen. Maku makean maltainen ja siirappinen sekä salmiakkinen. Suupielet tahmean makeaksi saava olut on keskitäyteläinen ja keskiasteisesti hiilihappoinen. Ulkonäkö paras, tuoksu ihan ok ja maku turhan yksiulotteinen. Silti ihan jännä.

(Keg at BrewDog Helsinki, 20160718) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had coriander, fruitiness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were coriander, grass, fruitiness, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy and bitter. A pretty good wit.

Bottled (from Alko). Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is nice salted liquorice with mild aniselike notes as well. Flavour is salted liquorice, some roasted notes, mild smoked wood as well as some mild sweet berry jam.

Tap at Brewdog Helsinki, Helsinki. Colour is clear deep copper with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Sweetness, harshness, ripe fruits and malts. Strong flavors and nice maltiness but I don’t like this style.

Draught @Brewdog helsinki. Pours amber color with a thin white head. Caramelly aroma, fudgy sweetness. Dark fruits, some dates. Flavor has sweetness, caramel, toffee, hops, malts. Not that familiar with this style, but quite enjoyable.

Bottle 0.5l at home, Vantaa. BBE ???. Colour is cloudy orange with large white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, caramel, spices and malt. Quite spice amber ale. Clean but watery.

(Keg at BrewDog Helsinki, 20160601) The beer poured black . Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, creamy coffee and liquorice. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, coffee beans, liquorice, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. A well done imperial stout.
