Opaque black color, small brownish head. Aroma is mostly tart, not much of smoke (some when warms up). Light-bodied. Tart, citric flavor, some toasted malty notes. Light smoked notes in the finish. Gone bad. And it is 5th of 13 sampled Iso-Kalla beers. This brewery is not very solid.

500ml Bottle - Very dark brown. Salmiakki, mint and plain chocolate in the aroma. Rich taste with salmiakki, after eight chocolates and plain chocolate. Some earthy notes can be detected in the finish.

(Keg at Villi Wäinö, 20160302) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had banana, caramel and Belgian style yeast. Palate was medium bodied with rather high carbonation. Flavours were caramel, grass, Belgian style yeast, banana and bitterness. Aftertaste had toasted malts and bitterness. A decent but too hash brew.

A colablack beer with a medium and beige head. Aroma has ryebready maltyness. some salt liquirice, strong sweetness in the background. Taste has berries, some roastiness. Medium bodied. Weird and unbalanced beer. The focus is totally missing.

50cl bottle. Pours black in color with a thin brown head, light carbonation. Salty, berryish, light licorice on the nose. Flavor has burntness, ashy notes, salty licorice, molasses. Thin, empty finish. Quite weird. I would have liked more Salmiakki here. Ash tray in finish.

Smell of licorice, roasted malt. Black, brown head. Aroma of ash, licorice, faint of salmiakki. Bitter and sour. Ashy dry palate. Also surprisingly watery. Could have more salmiakki, now it's just a half-bland ashy porter.
