Clear medium amber orange color with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, malt extract. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, sugary, malt extract, marmelade - marmelade hops. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is lively - fizzy. [20150117]

Bottle, 4.5%. Dark amber with big tan head. Aroma is malt, caramel, bread and toasted. Flavour is malt, caramel, toasted, over carbonated, sweet, little dark fruit and a little bread.

Tap at Bryggeri Helsinki. Opaque black / brown color, small steady brown head. Sticky chocolate and soya sauce aroma. Medium-bodied. Smooth. Chocolate, toasty maltyness, also some medicinal notes. Tolerable.

Bottled@AIH40 (from Fröökynän Herkku, Tampere). Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, wooden, mild acidic notes as well as some earthy notes. Flavour is floral, fruity, mild tart wooden notes. Balanced, but still it feels this isn’t quite alright.

Hazy orange-amber color, small white head, lace. Slightly perfumic piney aroma. Light-bodied. Light tartness, citrus, even some earthy notes. Not really clean but somewhat infected or at least with yeast problems.

Bottle 0.5l at Olhus Kopenhavn, Helsinki. BBE 08/15???. Colour is cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Fruits, hops and malts. Pretty one-dimensional, looks yeasty but flavor has more like sour vibes. Little bit of too watery.

(Keg at Black Door, 20141114) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had coffee, dark chocolate and mildly sourness. Palate was rather full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, coffee, fruiitiness, burnt malts, coffee, mild sourness, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was roasty and bitter. A very nice dark roasty brew.

(Keg at Black Door, 20141114) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was medium sized, dense and white. Aroma had malts, caramel and molasses. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, something resembling medicin, caramel, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, herbal and bitter. A mediocre and unfortunately unclean brew.

Draught @ Gallows Bird Kekri 2014 Pours slightly cloudy orange with a smooth head. Aroma of fruits, caramel, hints of rye, grass, citrus and pine. Taste is hoppy, crisp and grassy with notes of pine, citrus, rye and caramel. Finish is crisp and grassy with notes of caramel and citrus.
