(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20150507) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized, lightly brown and it lasted long. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate, cocoa and mildly smoke. Palate was rather full bodied and dryish with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, ash, pine, French roast coffee and bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts, coffee, ash and bitterness. The taste was too burnt but the aroma was good.

(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20150507) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, pine, creamy toffee and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, pine, grass, malty sweetness, malts and quite intense bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and quite bitter. A good but a bit too bitter pale ale.

Draught @ Pikkulintu. Aroma has tropical fruits and some pineapple juice. Flavour has tropical fruits, pineapple juice and biscuits. Finishes with some cereal, minerals and harsh herbal bitterness. Starts nice but the harsh bitterness in the finish ruins the show.

Draught @ Pikkulintu. Aroma has nice coffee tones and salty licorice. Flavour has salty licorice, some smoky tones, tobacco, ash and coffee. Smooth palate, low on CO2. Dry finish with more coffee. A bit too salty for me but nice anyway. This is probably what a morning cigarette with coffee would taste like. Reminds me of Närke Pannektarnas Porter.
