On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear copper gold with small white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is spice and bread. Thin body, spice, bready malt, light finish, good.

Tap at Gambrinus. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of foam that lingers. Graham crackers and ovaltine on the nose with some roasty coffee notes. More roasted malt on the palate, toasted caramel and some dark fruit. Some roasted cacao maybe. A bit too thin. Decent I guess. --- Beer merged from original tick of His Dark Materials on 26 Oct 2016 at 22:45 - Score: 6. Original review text: Just ok really. Some light cocoa and a bit of graham cracker. Body is way to thin.
