Draft. Deep brown body with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malts and cocoa. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Taste of sweet malts, chocolate and a bit of dark fruit. Light ash.

Tap at Mellow. Pours a clearish gold with almost no head. Lightly tart with some faint lemon and gooseberry notes. Low carbonation with a flat mouthfeel. Easy drinking, light tart finish. Doesn’t really stand out, but enjoyable.

Tap at J’s. Pours a clear brown with a finger of foam that lingers. Toffee nose with some fruit, good carbonation. More caramel and fall fruit on the palate. A touch of faint tobacco. Dry finish.

Tap at Gambrinus. Pours a deep brown to black with almost no head. Dark malt nose, touch of coffee & dark prune. Tart, dark fruit flavors dominate. Light-bodied, lightly sour on the palate. Roasty, sour finish. Needs work tbh.

Tap at CYO. Pours a clear gold with a finger of foam that lingers. Lots of light roasted coffee aromas in the nose with some tangerine and lemon. Clean and crisp with the coffee being well-integrated. None of the green pepper flavor that so many coffee IPAs have. Crisp and light, with a refreshing finish with roasty coffee and juicy citrus. Nice drop Monnik!

Tap at Gambrinus. Pours a clearish gold with a finger of white foam. Light corn-syrup nose, with bubblegum and for some reason Belgian yeast notes. Medium to light carbonation. Sweet corn-syrup, grain notes. Finish is sweet and spicy with a touch of honey. Not really getting much pils character.

2017 re-rerate. Bacon, burned wort, smoke and grassy hops. Juicy, mouthfeel. Bitter smoky finish. Needs work still. This is not a good beer folks...either on tap or in the can. The can looks pretty, but the contents, meh. Tap at CYO. Pours a clear gold with a small white head. Light hoppy, tropical nose. Bit of gasoline as it warms, onions. Clean and crisp on the front end, but heavy on the back with onion and sharp bitterness. --- Beer merged from original tick of India Pale Ale on 20 Nov 2016 at 01:30 - Score: 5. Original review text: Light hoppy, tropical nose. Bit of gasoline. Clean and crisp on the front end, but heavy on the back with onion and sharp bitterness. Nah...

Tap at Gambrinus. Pours a clear gold with a small head. Big punchy citrus nose with caramel. A little syrupy, lots of orange marmalade. Classic west coast-style, but a touch boozy.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy orange gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is tropical fruit and dank. Medium body, bubblegum, grapefruit, pine, lingering bitterness, very good.
