Draught @ HBF 2016. Pours orange with a smooth head. Aroma of grainy malts, hay, grass, citrus and hints of herbal notes. Taste is smooth, grassy and citrusy with hints of grainy malts and hay. Finish is crisp, grassy and citrusy with some hay. Okay.

Draught @ hbf 2016. Amber color, thick white head. Grainy, malty aroma, grassy. Flavor has grass, malt and hay. Basic, good stuff.

Draught @ HBF 16. Aroma has biscuits, resin and hay. Flavour has grain, biscuits, fruits and resin. Also hayish notes. Gets mild herbal bitterness in the finish. APA on the resiny and grainy side.

Tap at HBF2016. Golden color, small white head. Sweetish lemon aroma, malts. Light-bodied. Pale malty, clean, light citrusy hoppyness. Sessionable although not exciting.

Smell of malts, grain. Hazy copper colour, high beige head. Aroma of malt, grass, some hop. Bitter. Flat carbon, rather light texture, mid-heavy body. Rather easy to drink, but despite the name, does not challenge in any way.

Pikkalintu, Helsinki. Keg. Almost clear gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Clean if slightly lagerish pale malts. Touches of parma violets, candy fruits and a trace of tropical fruits. Mild dry spice and marmalade. Light dry finish. Not bad, quirky.

(Bottle, 0.5 l - BB 20.08.2016, from M Tullinpuomi, 20160331) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had caramel, toffee and mildly earth. Palate was medium bodied with rather high carbonation. Flavours were grass, toffee, caramel, malts, toasted bread and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, sweet and bitter. A mild brew with strong and balanced flavours. Too fizzy.

50 cl bottle @ home. BBE 15.04.2016. Aroma has lots of malt and some bready tones. Also nuts. Flavour has nuts, bready malt, mild grassy hops and hints of metal. Very malty as promised. Also very nutty. Goes fine with cashew, but perhaps some roasted nut could work better?

Tap at Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Colour is slightly cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, grape, lime, hops and malts. Very juicy and clean. Excellent Finnish beer. Drinkability very good.

(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20160317) The beer poured deep golden and nearly clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, citricness and peach. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, pine, grapefruit, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A very full flavoured brew. Really well done.
