Clear burgundy with a huge beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and overripe fruits. Flavour went the same way though with an alcohol burn.

Bottle 30cl. @ home.When we opened the bottle is exploded all over the table. Clear medium to dark amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, caramel, light to moderate yeasty, banana - rubber, resin notes ( almost like a to old weizebeer ). Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. [20090414]

300ml Bottle - Very dark brown, with a foamy tan head and some red tinges. Roasted and malty aroma with hints of dried fruit. Malty and slightly spicy taste, with some fruity and roasted elements. The finish is malty, fruity, sweet and slightly chewy.

Bottled (CK, 30cl). Very pale yellow color with vanishing head - looks like cider. A bit earthy, fruity, white wineous aroma. Tickling carbonation. Apple flavoured sparkling wine flavor with some yeasty notes and alcohol. A bit spicey-fruity aftertaste. One-dimensional brew, but certainly similar to some Belgian abbey tripels, but same time has also kind of European strong lager touch.

Bottled (CK, BB 11/2010). Clear ruby color, beige head with big bubbles ... fizzy look - like Coca-cola. First imperession from nose is sourness ... then some caramel or fudge, brown sugar and alcohol. Very fizzy mouthfeel. Toffeish caramel, some plum in the flavor. There is some alcohol too, but much less than ABV indicates. Lots of carbonation ... without it this would be something like a poor man’s quadrupel.
