Tap, taster. Tasted on the 17/03/2018 at "Barcelona Beer Festival 2018", L´hospitalet (Spain). Dark brown to copper colour with a low beige head. Aroma of honey, coffee and wood. Taste is sweet malts, brown sugar, wood and honey. Next one please!

Tap at Oljenkorsi, Helsinki. Colour is dark brown with small slightly brownish head. Aromas and flavours: Chocolate, milk chocolate, some hops and roasted malts. Good tasty light stout with nice aroma.

Tap at Pub Oljenkorsi, Helsinki. Color is cloudy brown with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Some sweetness, dry fruits, raisins, some ripe fruits, some alcohol and malts. Quite heavy actually.

Tap at Oljenkorsi, Helsinki. Color is brown with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Chocolate, some bread, some spices, some Christmas spices, vanilla, some nuts and malts. Nice bready malts, good drinkability with gentle aroma. Surprisingly light for 8abv but I don't see that as a problem.

Dark brown colour, small beige head. Toasted, ashy aroma. Light-bodied. Toasted, coffeish and quite ashy. Light hops in the finish. Tolerable but too ashy for my liking and of course with 4.5% too watery. Same time standard, there's been some similar grocery shop stouts in Finland.

Smell of grain, berries, some oak and licorice. Muddy brown colour, light brown head. Aroma strikes first with barbed hoppiness, going towards weizen-like yeast and breadiness, some oak and red berries in finish. Odd mixture of flavours, but avoids being messy. Weird but interesting weizen / brown ale combo.

330ml bottle from Alko. Pours dark brown with a tiny head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, syrup, rye bread, hints of herbal notes and resin. Taste is sweet, resinous and caramely with some syrup, toffee, rye, herbal hops and fruits. Finish is caramely, sweet and bitter with loads of caramel, toffee, syrup, herbal hops, pine, resin and hints of rye. Heavy, resinous and bitter barley wine with loads of caramel and toffee.

Bottle, courtesy of EuroSanta VastActiv. Pours unclear yellow. Aroma is mango, saison yeast, popcorn. Body is medium, quite sweet and fruity, yeasty, quite persistent in flavours. Lively carbonation, mango, phenols. Good!
