Bottle 50 cl. #15 Bb. 9/2019. Black with a shortlived brown head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, coffee and some dark fruits. Sweet taste, light bitter chocolate and licorice end. Not bad.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 31/12/2017, from Alko, 20170221) The beer poured brown and quite cloudy. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had caramel, spiciness and coriander. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, spiciness, malts, clove and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy, malty and bitter. A decent dunkelweizen but too unbalanced

A brown beer, a head is big and light beige. Aroma has tropical mangos, some citrus and toffeeish maltyness with liquirice. Taste has tropical fruitness and mangos, fresh liquirice, some bitterness. Medium bodied, quite high carbonation. Now it’s tried to something new and succesfully. Very interesting and tasteful beer.

Dark amber color, small steady beige and some lace. Aroma has citrus, wheat, banana. Medium-bodied. Hoppy wheaty dunkelweizen, similar to some other German-crossovers. Weizen notes and then gooseberry and citrus hops. Alcohol and hops cover the most of German dunkelweizen flavors. Also a bit dry, could be a bit more estery, yeasty. Tolerable.

Dark opaque color, mostly vanishing brownish head. Aroma has cold coffee, cocoa and vanilla sweetness. In some point hints of cellar or metal too. Medium-bodied. Cocoa and toastyness but vanilla dominates here. Smooth palate, low bitterness. As it is brewed in Malmgård, it means that well-brewed but I need my stout a bit more roasted or hoppy or both.

A reddish brown beer, a head is big and blond. Aroma could be more fresh. Fruitness, wood and herbs, some caramel and soap. Taste has dryness of wood, some fruits and caramel, medium bitterness. Almost medium bodied, high carbonation. Should be more fresh and not so messy.

500ml bottle from Alko. Pours pitch black with a small bubbly head. Nice aroma of vanilla, cocoa, chocolate, mudcake, coffee, mild roastiness and salty licorice. Taste is smooth, slick and slightly roasty with some cocoa, vanilla, coffee, chocolate and mudcake. Finish is slick with some sweetness, cocoa, salty licorice, vanilla and chocolate. Could’ve used a bit more body and roastiness, but quite nice vanilla and cocoa overdose nevertheless.
