(Draught at Oluthuone Panimomestari, Tampere, on 2008-08-08) Black. Big brown head. Chocolate and roasted malts in nose. Full-bodied and dry palate. Sweetness, roastedness, almost burnt flavours, bitterness and chocolate in taste. Very long aftertaste that turns more and more bitter. Really nice dry stout.

(Draught at Pikkulintu on 2008-07-16) Yellowish orange and cloudy. Bubbly big white head that doesn’t last long. Banana and malts in nose. Light palate with some carbonations, turns dry. Banana, malts, some sourness and bit of pine in taste. Quite ok hefeweizen.

Medium offwhite head does not last. Amber body with light carbonation. Floral resiny aroma. Dry-sweet resiny roasty dry cocoa taste with fruity notes and some honey. Carbonates a lot in the mouth. Dry resiny cocoa aftertaste. Quite unusual, but pretty good. (0.25l draft at Oluthuone Kaisla, Helsinki.)

Draught at Herman, Turku. Clear pale golden, no head. Grassy and grainy, medium bodied. Dry and crisp, yet rounded with long grassy bitter finish. Despite the saaz hops it feels more German than Czech. Very good anyway!

Draught (Pikkulintu, Helsinki)- Pale golden in colour with lively carbonation and a small head. Citric, hoppy and malty taste which goes down well but is still a bit too bland for me. I am not a great lover of most interpretations of this style.

Draught (Pikkulintu, Helsinki)- Hazy golden in colour with a haze and a large white head. Spicy and fresh aroma with a hint of pine and banana. Fresh tasting with lemon and spice. Not bad but could do with a bit more flavour.

(From old notes, draught at Pikkulintu on 2008-01-04) Black. Lots of hops with pine aroma in nose. Likewise, the taste has got pine aroma in addition to roasted malts. Exceptionally good version of Siperia.
