Boks 0,5l kjøpt på Kilpishalli. Delt med Rune under seanse i heimen 16 Jun 11. Lys gylden. OK lyst kremaktig skum. Aroma av malt & høy. Smaken litt gress med innslag av frukt. Markert bitter ettersmak som varer lenge. KI=8

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of and shared with Marko (thanks!). Hazy yellow coloured, small white head, sourish yeasty banana nose. Strong sour yeasty, fruity and banana with hint of spices near the end. Interesting and pretty good weizen.

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Cloudy golden, brief airy head. Aroma of sour milk and banana. Unclean yeasty lemon flavour. Tart and light bodied with hard mouthfeel, No bitterness. Flawed.

Got this at the Alko Wiklund in Turku (right now the biggest one since the one on Places is being renovated or something like that). Shared with ogivlado. Murky yellow body, small white head. Slightly sourish banana nose. Slightly sourish notes of banana show up in the taste too with some cloves. The acidity seems perfectly balanced, and whether this was intenional or not I don’t care because it ended up being remarkably good. Well done brewery or well done bacteria. In any case, better than I expected.

Draught@Bruuveri
Clear amber, chestnut color, small off-white head. Bready, ryeish aroma with hints of caramel. Medium-bodied. Flavor has raisins and is bready. Quite thin, watery palate for this ABV. Finish has some hoppy bitterness and then hints of caramel. Kind of homebrewish and not balanced as good English strong bitter should be.

(Draught at Bruuveri, 20111101) The beer poured brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had caramell, malts and carboard. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, caramell and low bitterness. Aftertaste was short, malty and lightly bitter. Watery, weak and tastes old even though it is a brand new brew.

33 cl bottle @ Olutravintola Konttori. Rated on 11.06.2011
Aroma is rather floury with wheat and some banana esthers. Flavour is floury and dryish with banana, wheat and some yeast. Way too floury and a bit harsh too.
Draught @ Oluthuone Leskinen as ”Saimaan Vehnä”. Rated on 06.08.2010
Aroma is a bit sourish with grapefruit and earthy notes. Flavour is sour with earthy notes, some lactic acid, grapefruit, wheat and yeasty notes. The sourness is most likely not intentional, but fits here nicely! 6+4+7+3+15=3.4

Bottle from somewhere in Turku. Nice amber-red body, clear though, scant off white head. Strange malty nose, bit sourish. Sweet taste, malt background, sourish plummy fruitiness up front, tasting fake. Vague coffee. Not a good dubbel, and while it has some qualities, it’s far from a great dubbel, and not too brilliant in terms of drinkability. They can do better I guess...
