Orange colour, small steady white head. Very spicey banana aroma, some citrus. Light to medium-bodied. Flavour is also very clovey spicey with citrus and banana. Quite American version of traditional Hefeweizen. As such not too bad, one of the better Saimaas recently.

Smell of roasted malt. Deep bronze colour, high brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, some ash, rubber, a faint of grass, mämmi. Medium bitter. Medium body, flat carbon.

On tap @ Bruuveri, Helsinki. Golden beer with quite small head. Aroma and flavor has malt, slightly grainy and bready. Actually not far from typical Finnish bulk lagers.

Deep golden colour, medium-sized cloudy white head and lace. Saimaa nose: harsh, malts, grass and light fruityness. Light-bodied. Very harsh flavour, light citrus, grain and grass. Saimaa harsh house flavours are not just in ales but now in lagers too.

A golden beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has some fruitness, also hint of overriped fruits, some maltyness. Taste has maltyness, sweet fruitness, some caramel. The bitterness is slightly harsh. Medium bodied. Overriped fruits are reducing the freshness.
