Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a hazy light amber with a huge frothy white head. The aroma is grassy hop, pine needle. The flavour is medium bitter with a grassy hop, citrus lime, light spice palate. Medium to light bodied with lively carbonation. Perfect for a BBQ!

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is peaty malt, light fruit, light smoke. The flavour is medium bitter with a smooth caramel malt hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Didn’t really get much smoke, but a smooth and very satisfying porter all the same. I would buy this again.

Draft at Doerak beer festival, delft. Pours cloudy golden with an off white head. Aroma of citrus, yeast, grass and grapefruit. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and heavy bitter. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Draft at The Hague beer festival 2014. Pours hazy brown with a medium beige head. Aroma of roast, burnt malt, caramel and dark fruits. Flavor is over moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Black. Aroma has light smoke, dried meat. Flavour is quite smokey, almost savoury. Dark malts come through in the finish. Drinks quite well when you have something savoury to eat at the same time.

Hazy blond. Very strong aroma of pale malts and citrusy hops. Flavour has a sweet pea background. Furthermore it’s tangy and fresh.

Flesje meegenomen uit Groningen na het #bfgm14. Donkerbruin met fijne bruine kraag, goed kleverig maar vlakt wel af. Het eerste wat er doorkomt in het aroma zijn de rookmouten, nu ben ik niet zo'n vreselijke liefhebber van rookmouten dus dat gaat mijn rating zeker beïnvloeden. Deze rokerigheid komt ook in de smaak terug, evenals wat gebrande/geroosterde mouten, matig zoet, licht bittertje, chocolade. Afdronk wat zwak koffie bittertje en iets kruidig, matige body. Aardig maar voor mij graag één zonder die rookmouten!

Flesje gescoord bij de mitra na het #bfgm14, oranje ondoorzichtig met witte kraag. Aroma van citrus, grapefruit en den boven een basis moutigheid. Smaken zijn matig zoet, redelijk hopbittertje, citrus en den, goed hoppig, iets droog in de mond, koriander en sinaasappelschil. Afdronk wat droog, vrij lang hangend bittertje Al met al een goed geslaagde introductie van hun bier.
