Copper color under a fleeting white head. Nutty malt aroma. The flavor is malty with a bit of hop bitterness, but this is just another boring amber ale really. Some dryness in the finish, but overall not much going on here. Cute little swing top bottle and easy drinking unassertive flavor should make this a good gateway brew for the macro drinker looking to try something more daring. Think baby steps here.

Quite an active looking standard lager with a nice fruity dry aroma. The flavour is very strong as you would expect, but quite sweet with a dry finish. Overall not as bad as the reviews suggest.

Cloudy pale yellow color. Smells and tastes like a shandy, but drier (citrus fruits, coriander…); therefore the bitterness at the end is not pleasant. Not a beer, a strange drink.

Plain looking amber beer with a malty lager aroma and a lightly bitter flavour with a touch of malt. Overall a plain French lager.

Orange beer with little head, a fruity orange aroma and a weak, watery orange and vodka flavour. Overall not a beer but an alco-pop.

Pleasantly sweet, almost floral aroma - best thing about this beer. Pale straw color. Slightly sweet flavor and hops flavor. Not a bad beer - just not spectacular.

A beer that teaches the lesson to read the label. Since this beer is made with whisky malt, it is more reminiscent of a scotch and water than a beer. The aroma reminds me of an Islay scotch (peat, salty, iodine). The flavor is smokey and peaty but finishes rather sweet which is a bit disconcerting. Head is full. This reminds me of Laphroig or Bowmore initially but finishes too sweet. If you want a typical beer, skip this one but isn’t bad if you like Islay scotches or smokey flavor.

Pours a bright yellow with a big head. Kind of a skunky aroma and the taste is well not really there. Its a lager and not much else. Cool raised glass bottle though but don’t judge a book by its cover.

The aroma is of rope, tar, peat, and malt with notes of sweetness. My daughter of seven thinks it smells like me!?! The color is red-orange and it has a fine but collapsing head. The flavor is way too sweet, but with nice notes of malt, peat, rope, and tar. This beer would be great if it wasn’t so sweet. It is lovely complex with great accents, but the sweetness from the added candy sugar kills the greatness, but I still think it is an interesting beer to sample.
