Bomber poured into a tulip glass, very dark brown opaque with tan head. Nose is bourbon and figs. Tastes of chocolate and dark fruits, finishes boozy and malty. Not that complex compared to some impys, but very tasty.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out fairly dry piney hops and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with piney hops, crisp biscuity malt and light tropical fruiting. Piney, fruity and crisp. Not particularly well-balanced but it works well.

Seemed like a cross between a single and double IPA. Floral aroma with citrus notes. Hoppy flavour with sweet and tart citrus. Light finish.
