Bottle pour at Carnivale Brettanomyces 2017 Homebrew Market @ De Prael. Hazy golden with no head. Sour grains, smoke, smoked sausage, dry grass, plastic and cardboard reprazent. Light sweet, moderate bitter and light sour. Some lactic cobwebby sickliness. Under medium body and soft carbonation. --- Beer merged from original tick of Ziegenhainer on 27 Dec 2017 at 19:59 - Score: 7. Original review text: 3.4

Bottle sampled at Carnivale Brettanomyces Homebrew market. Very cloudy straw with barely any head. Pear juice, spicy rye, lemon, soft lactic notes, light herbs. Medium sour, very light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with fizzy carbonation. Quite nice.

Bottle sampled at Carnivale Brettanomyces Homebrew market. Hazy light golden with barely any head. Soft smoke, lemon, peach, dough, ash, seaweed. Medium sour and light bitter, hint of sweet and salt way in the background. Low bodied with fizzy carbonation. Not bad for the style, since I usually don’t like smoked beers at all.

Bottle from Braukunstwerk, Münster. Very pale in the glass, sourish fruity in the nose. The beer starts mils and fresh, round and smooth with a nice floral hoppiness. Refreshing with sourish hints, nice balanced and sessionable. The sourness is very dry and funky, the body is light and the floral bitter hops are fitting nice in. Easy to drink, refreshing and great light for the summer with still depth and lots of funk. Nice!

0,75 l bottle bought directly from brewer at a farmers market last sunday in front of the Osnabrück Zoo. 8,00 €. Unclear pale golden in the glass, small frothy white head. Smells yeasty and a little bit tart, grape and/or citrus in the background. Taste starts dry, smooth, some yeast and wheat. Low sweetness in the background. Increasing pale malt in the finish. Getting thinner to the end. Really nice easy drinking stuff.
