A golden beer, a head is almost medium and white. Aroma has maltyness, light honey. Taste has maltyness, grain, sweetness of honey, light bitterness. Medium bodied, smooth. Pretty nice.

A golden beer, a head is quite big and blond. Aroma has wheat, bubblegum, spicyness, low fruitness. Taste has bubblegum, spicyness, wheat and sourness, some fruitness. Medium bodied. I would prefer more more fruitness, but pretty nice.

Schwalbe-Bräu Bock, 6,5 %, Flasche von einem Edeka in Pankow. - Schönes tiefes Goldbraun, sahniger beigefarbener Schaum. - Röstmalzig, wenig süß (Rohrzucker), kräftige Bittere, langer Nachtrunk. - Ordentliches Bockbier, ohne Feinheiten im Geschmack aber auch ohne die geschmacklichen Härten mancher Konkurrenten. Einsiedler Bock hell, Flasche. - Kupfergoldbraun, blank. - In der Nase bocktypisch sattes, sauber karamelliges Malz und solide aber etwas industriebiermäßige zitrusfruchtige Hopfung. - Antrunk schwer und leicht derb karamelmalzig mit solider aber derber hopfenwürziger Herbe, die in plumpe Bittere übergeht. Saubere malzige Tiefe; Anklänge an geröstete Nuß, Rosinen, Rübensirup. Milder rezent, vollmundig; leichte alkolische Wärme. Im Abgang aromatisch vage Bittere, die nach Hopfenextrakt schmeckt. - Malztiefer aber derber Industriebock, immerhin rund und gut trinkbar. (15.7.2021.)
