500ml bottle. Quite old within the consume by date. Pours foggy golden brown with a tall off-white head. Aroma is sickly sweet fruits, malt. Taste is the same. I think this beer has been stored wrong.

Appearance: Clear straw yellow with a decent white head. Aroma: pale malt, straw, bean hop. Taste: Light sweet, light to medium bitter. malt, grass, beans, distant pine. Grassy aftertaste. Mouth feel: Light to medium body, Average carbonation. Summary: Far from being a disaster. Just a budget pilsner.

Look: clear gold with a large white frothy head of decent retention. Aroma: crackers, spicy hop, distant fruitiness. Taste: clean, crisp, crackers and noble hop. Medium dry. Medium bitter herbal ending. Palate: light to medium body, appropriate carbonation. Overall: good pilsner.

Bottle from a Getränkemarkt in Leipzig, drunk after the roof panels were installed on our addition. Dark brown, light tan head, light roasted nose with brown sugar sprinkles. Flavor is pretty dry, milder roast flavor than a porter, light body with slight dark-maltiness. A bit astringent on the aftertaste; not the smoothest bitterness.

Bottle from Leipzig. Slightly hazy gold, pretty good head. Nose of slightly malty, earthy hay. Taste is an interesting interplay of grain, herbal notes, and mineral flavor. Filtered through granite? Pretty tasty.
