Sample (thanks omhper!). Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is floral, some liquorice, chocolate and mild toffee tones with some roast and mild toffee elements. Flavour is floral, some liquorice, ashes and mild black currant as well as some slight dark chocolate and mild alcohol sweetness.

Bottle 70 cl. Pours a cloudy, nutty brown with a fizzy, dissipating off-white head. Nose has dark dried fruits, molasses and Belgian yeast. Solid body, flavors as above with a carbonation to the low side. Decent - if not exactly overwhelming - dark Abvey style beer. 241223
