500ml @ Black Christmas 2023 at Heritage Hall. Appearance: brown with a beige head. Aroma: American oak, some cherries and sweetness, a tad of acidity. Taste: along the same lines, cherries, some roasted malts, light acidity. Overall: good for a dark sour, but I wish it would have more barrel notes.

NC Cider Fest. Clear, red amber. Sharp currants, deep grape, enough of a reminder that this is a currant-flavored dry cider. Super skin, all skin. Heavy currant tannins, dessert apples fermented dry, floral without being potpourri. This was excellent.

Carolina Cider Fest. Clear, pale gold, hyper-active pour. Clove & vanilla push past the other spice on the nose. No apple yet. Tart, bittersweet, thin, aromatic juice with very clove forward spice. Nicely acidic & medium tart. Making the best out of an average situation. Good.
