Bottle. Clear, a bit pale, golden, with a white head. Malty, sweet and grainy nose and flavor. The flavor has a bitter hoppiness as well, leading to a dry, slightly bitter finish. Medium body. A decent maibock, but there’s nothing special to it. (070705)

Bottle. Clear, almost golden, with a small, white head. Hops, fruits and some grain in the aroma. The flavor has hoppy bitterness with malt in the background. Medium to thin body. A quite balanced beer, finishing with a hoppy fruityness. Nothing special to it, but certainly not bad either. (070705)

Bottle. Almost golden-colored body, clear, with a small, white head. Decent maltyness in the aroma, especially compared to the pilsner, and it has some fruity hops as well. It’s not a world-class aroma though. The flavor is, like the aroma, grainy, malty and fruity, leading to a hop-fruity finish without much bitterness. Thin to medium body. I’m not overly impressed by the beer, but it’s quite drinkable. (070705)

500 ml bottle. Golden body with a white head. Vague malty aroma with some hops. Relativly neutral flavor, some bitterness but to ordinary for my taste.

Bottled. Dark red, near black, fluffy beige head. Roasty licorice aroma. Dry yet fruity. Light bodied with lots of licorice. Heavily salty with tarry bitter finish. Not at all as cloyingly sweet as many German porters has been. This one remians drinkable and pleasant.

Bottle, 6.6%. Refreshing, grassy hopppiness in aroma. Clear golden colour. Big, stable white head. The flavour starts off slightly sweet, turning peppery and then into a rough bitterness. Too rough for my liking.
