Bottle looks... its a bit too much. Beer in the glass not too turbid, small head. Starts fruity yeasty, notes of apricot, modest dry. Finish a bit spicy, well balanced hoppy notes. Nice!

The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also, very zippy, huge head. Starts hoppy and dry, quite metallically and sourish, a bit dusty. Finish unbalanced, too metallically. Not my favourite!

Bottle (Dank an Stefan!) Pale greenish golden, quite quickly collapsing white lacy foam; relatively dry grassy-hoppy nose with some sweet pale-malt underneath; dryish bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied; a tinge of pale malt in the bitter-sweet finish, followed by a light adstringent tartness in the aftertaste. A simple brew.....

(bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, golden colour with a blond and short foamy head. Strawy pale malty aroma with a tinge of dough and discreetly grassy and herbal hops. Slightly bitter flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Strawy malty taste with a tinge of paper and light notes of herbal hops; dry-ish malty and slightly herbal and hop bitter finish. Not really worth the name. 04.VII.10

Bottle (kindly delivered by Quack-Duck!): A bit unclear and greenish-golden coloured, smaller loose white head; sweetish grainy-strawy nose with a very delicate alcoholic touch and some grassy hops underneath; light sweet-bitter flavour, relatively light bodied; slightly increasing hoppiness in the grainy-bitter finish. Not bad, but a bit disappointing......

Bottle (333ml, donated by Stefan!):Pale greenish-golden, smaller white head with a little lace; delicate aromatic-hoppy (woody) nose with a pale-malty background; medium to solid bitter-sweet flavour, soft and light bodied; slightly lingering aromatic-hoppy finish with a pale-malty counterweight. Fine stuff, but presumable identical to the regular Baisinger Pils.......?

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a massive but non-persistent and slightly off-white frothy head. Sweet, moderately wheaty and bubblegum-fruity aroma with a tinge of spicy phenols. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a slightly fizzy carbonation. Moderately wheaty malty and rather slightly citrus-fruity taste with a bitter-sweet and minimal tart finish. There are worse Kristallweizens in the world. 10.II.10

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, greenish golden colour with a short foamy white head. Slightly sweet pale malty and citrus-fruity aroma with herbal and slightly woody hoppy accents. Bitter and minimal sweet flavour, light to medium with a crispy mouthfeel. Soft malty base with chalky notes and herbal, slightly fruity hops; dry and moderately bitter hoppy finish. Most probably identical to the Baisinger Pilsener. 24.II.10

Bottle (crystal-clear thanks to quack-Duck!): Clear, greenish-golden coloured, bigger - rather quickly diminishing - fluffy white head; wheaty-grainy nose with a typical lemony touch; moderate sweetish-sourish flavour; lemons in the sweet and tart finish. A better example of that style....

Bottle (thanx to the lake of Constance!): Pale, hazy, greenish-golden, small white foamy layer with a lttle lace; hoppy yeasty nose with fruity undertones and a light mashy touch; solid bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; lingering dryish aromatic hoppy - almost a bit piney - finish, balanced by pale malt. Good Zwickel.......
