Bottle from het Biermoment, BB Aug 2016, large sample. Hazy amber color, big rocky off-white head. Aroma of grassy and piney hops, some caramel, bit butterscotch, citrus. Slight caramelly sweetness, medium to high bitterness. Carbonation and bitterness make the finish fairly dry. Ok beer.

Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for sharing this bottle! Smooth and intense beginning. Roast, some dark malt, sourish Saison-hints. Full and round brew, a bit too concentrated but ok for the ABV. Intense sticky aftertaste, malt, dark fruits, round and sticky!

Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for sharing this bottle! "Peated"-sticker on the front-label. The beer starts intense viscous. Plums, red fruit, dark and sticky-sweetish. But where is the smoke? I taste a nice and fruity barley-wine but nothing peated here. Fruity-viscoud and intense sticky plums in the aftertaste, round and smooth and intense but no peat or smoke... Sad.

Bottle [from trade with bierkoning] @ home. Hazy orange color, average to medium sized off-white head. Weird aroma that reminds me of grapes, grapepeel, kiwi, some sweetness it seems coming from the Oloroso barrel. Taste is sweet, again quite some fruit influences of grapes and kiwi if you ask me, but perhaps it’s the Oloroso barrel again doing this. There’s also definitely some alcohol present although it doesn’t dominate. Lots of flavors, not really well balanced, but in the end the beer tastes ok. Interesting I would say, and worth a try, but they’ve got better beers.

Bottle [from trade with bierkoning] @ home. Hazy reddish color, average sized off-white head that diminishes quickly. Smell and taste malts, herbs or spices, tart. Taste malts, dusty caramel, lightly sourish, brown sugar, grapepeel sour-bitter. Medium body, fizzy carbonation. Not very good and that’s putting it mildly.

Bottle [from trade with bierkoning] @ home. Nice very dark red to red-brown color, average sized light brown head. Aroma is malts, sweetness, some brown candy sugar. Taste malts, sweet, more candy sugar, lightly raisins and indeed -to my surprise- a hint of banana which I didn’t expect. Medium body, a bit sharp and lightly fizzy carbonation. Apart from the carbonation I like it though.

33cl bottle from MonsterMagnet, thanks!! Pours slightly hazy dark orange golden colour with a small beige head. Aroma of strong dry fruits, vanilla, wood, alcohol. Taste of decent peated malt, bacon, strong malt, dried fruits, alcohol.
