33 cl bottle @ oh6gdx. BBE 07/2016. Aroma is somewhat musty with soapy citrus and some gooseberry bush. Flavour has strong and bitter gooseberry bush, some soapy fruits and herbal tones. Foamy palate. Not that good, thin for this ABV.

Bottle 330ml (tnx bierkoning, Edo!)
Cloudy yellow color, small white head. Coriander spicey, tartish aroma. Medium-bodied. Fruity, yeasty, coriander, elderflower in the flavor. Witbierish and sweetish. Homebrewish.

Bottle 330ml (tnx Edo, bierkoning!)
Hazy yellow color, small mostly vanishing white head. Orange peel fruityness in the nose. Medium-bodied, active carbonation. Fruits, orange peels, yeast, semi-sweet. Not really as alcoholic than ABV indicates but very much "homebrewish" feeling in this one. Also lacks the needed depth of this strong Belgian ale.

33cl bottle from Slijter van Pernis. Almost no head. Hazy golden pour. A decent barley wine but still a bit too sweet. Needs some age on it.

330 ml bottle shared by MisoW at RB Tasting Vienna March Edition. Thanks!
Brown, hazy body, with a medium, creamy, beige head.
Aroma with a lot of nuts, also yeast, sour fruits, grass, some barnyard.
Tastes of nuts, sweet and sour fruits, pepper, slight barnyard.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes sweet malty and sour-fruity.
Nice one, although not much Saison character. The nutty malts dominate, with a lot of fruitiness. Overall quaffable for this ABV, but nothing outstanding.

bottle shared by MisoW at RB Vienna March Tasting. dark brown / almost black color, looks very oily, small coffee colored head. smells yeasty, light sour, fruity, peach, citric, astringent, some malts on the nose, full body, very slick, light bubbly, quite a lot of malty sweetness, dried fruits, raisins, a bit medical, herbs. slight malty / dry / fruity finish. quite good, not what i expect from a saison though.

Bottle. Aroma mostly roasty, raisins, dried fruit, but light saisony funk is present too. Clear dark brown colour. Taste is very balanced, nicely handling the saison - roasty contrast. Interesting, well made, well balanced. Also dark fruits in flavour.
