Can 50 cl. Courtesy of madsberg. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Very sweet almost candy-like aroma - odd. Medium body, again very sweet malts and a strange cardboard edge. Discreet bitterness. 301109

Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright golden color with a small white head. The aroma was sweet, tart, tangy and had an odd grape soda like element. The flavor was sweet, tart and fruity again with an odd grape soda like element. Medium length finish and medium body. Much better than I expected.

Light lager appearance and thin hop smell. This is overcarbonated, almost champagne in feel with more sour than sweet malt and little bitterness in the finish. Not a fan.

Aroma has a hint of malts, but is overpowered by tinniness and alcohol. The head isn’t very firm and dissipates quickly. Has that piss-poor yellow look to it that you don’t really want in a beer. Flavour is a bit of leathery syrup with some caramel, but actually not a lot of alcohol, which I suppose is a plus for these lagers. There’s some kind of weird aftertaste like licking on a pine tree, hard to place, and only identifiable halfway through the can. It’s a weakly assembled lager that can only be saved by the fact that if you find it in the right third world country, it’s bound to be super cheap.

Smells of metal and alcohol. I really can’t pick up anything else. Really airy head that dissipates quickly and the colour is that off-urine yellow that you really don’t want in a beer. Tastes a bit of hops with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Slightly syrupy. Mouthfeel is just average. Overall it’s a pretty weak "strong" lager no matter what the occasion.

Overall Impression: A crappy beer. Clear, grassy, light hops, not much else going on here.

Had a 22oz bottle during Bastille day fets in Brooklyn, refreshing on a hot day but overall nothing special, taste like a typical macro to me
