Appearance: Clear dark brown with a big beige head and lots of sticky lacing
Aroma: Roosted malts, bourbon, woody and vanilla
Taste: Toasted malts, sweet caramel, woody, bourbon and vanilla
Nice and flavorful.

On tap at the Houston Flying Saucer. Pours a clear brown with a slight amber hue and a creamy brown head that laces nicely. Aroma has notes of toast and roasted malts with backing dark grains. Flavor starts with dark grains and develops a bit of a smokey and toasty note through the finish.

Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks beerandbeyond. Clear brown color. Aroma has a bit of roastiness, slightly grainy, and light vegetal acidic notes. Sweetish roasty flavor with a bit of coffee, slightly "green", light acidity and a drier finish. Medium-bodied. Decent.

Bottle. Pours a very cloudy reddish brown with a grayish brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of banana and clove with a bit of spice and a hint of dark grain. Flavor has a lot of clove with some dark grains and banana.

Bomber from Hopper. Nose is banana, cloves, and a slight hint of molasses. Hazy brown with a medium tan head. Flavor is peppery with hints of banana, tobacco, and cloves.

On tap at Petrol Station. Pours a clear deep ruby brown with a grayish brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a caramel notes with alcohol and sweet grains and a hint of deep fruit. Flavor has notes of deep fruit and dark grains with a hint of alcohol.

Bottle. Pours a clear copper with a small frothy off white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is breqdy malt and raisin. Thin mouthfeel with a bitter raisin and dry finish. A decent marzen from Rahr.

RBESG August 2011, grand tasting. Deep, ruby brown with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of toffee and dried fruit, with loads of bourbon and vanilla. Sweetish malty flavour with overwhelming bourbon character.

Bottle @ RBESG 2011 Grand Tasting at Dean Swift, Tower Bridge SE1. Pours a dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty bourbon aroma with hints of caramel. Sweetish malty caramel flavor with hints of woody barrel and weak hints of bourbon. Has a sweetish malty warming barrel finish.
