Bottle. Foamy white head and slightly more gold to the hue than normal Woodchuck ciders. Aroma of powdered cider packets a bit of mulling spice and candy. Very sweet. Cotton candy, cinnamon, and a lot, a ton of sugar and those little bowls of spices and herbs you find in a bathroom. That said this is the first Woodchuck I have been able to take more than one sip of. Fizzy and thin.

$1.50 tick from New Beer. Faintly golden seltzer pint glass pour. Inch of paste-like head that settles into some mildly respectable-looking scum. Smell is plastic, corn husk, sulfur, & sugary sour candy. Taste is old pasta, apple Blow Pop, cheap grain alcohol, lime, confection sugar, dusty wheat, sulfites, & some ugly Euro lager for that lingering mental imprint. This "less then 1% natural flavor" has me stumped. Yucky. Carbonation is strong, feel is just a touch thicker then average, but this is not at all quenching. Just barely sitting on the fence between ratable & disposable. Batch concentrate & mulch grade apples. I think "Dark & Dry" is the only Woodchuck I can actually tolerate.

Overall Impression: My personal favorite of the Woodchuck offerings (though I have always like Granny Smith's apples more then regular apples, so that may be the real reason). It's another alright cider, and has some decent taste it. If I'm craving a Cider for some strange reason this is usually the best one for me in your average (read: low selection) store.

Overall Impression: I like this a bit more then the Amber Draft Cider, its not bad. Has some interesting stuff going on for a cider, and to me it's a little less sweet then the Amber, which may explain my preference.

Overall Impression: I'm certainly not going to go overboard attacking this one or anything, I think it's OK for a cider, not great, but not terrible, but I actually prefer some of Woodchuck's other offering more then this one. It servers its purpose, but at the same time, I rarely find myself wanting one of these...

12 oz. bottle. Hey, it’s okay. Pours amber with no head, but you can just hear it fizzing. Light apple smell, but at least none of the strange chemical smells from other bottled ciders. Taste is a very basic apple with a bit of alcohol to start. Then a hint or two of cinnamon. Tartness is about that of a Red Delicious. Carbonation is slight, enough keeps things interesting and maybe slow me down from slamming it. Finish is just to the dry side. Probably as good as a mass-distribution cider can be.

Bottle, cafe, Kalamazoo. Clear golden colour, no head. Nose of sweet apple. Flavour has apple, slight sourness. Watery.

Bottle thanks to Butters on 3/23/2009. Very clear amber body with a medium fizzy off-white head that rapidly fully diminishes. Sweet apple flavor with some oak hints and a bit of caramel. Sweet vanilla and oak flavor blending into soft apple. Medium light body with high carbonation.
