12 ounce bottle into weizen glass, bottled on 8/10/2015. Pours hazy bright golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big banana, bubblegum, clove, lemon, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and light earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big banana, bubblegum, clove, lemon, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal bitterness and light-moderate yeast spiciness after the finish; with lingering notes of banana, bubblegum, clove, wheat, cracker, bread, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Very nice robustness, complexity, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and light earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness after the finish as well. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, fairly crisp, and creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice hefeweizen style. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and light earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Pours slightly hazy/cloudy orange/amber color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/floral hops and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/piney hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky/resinous, and slightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good IPA. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/piney hops and moderate bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Levi’s place. Thanks Levi’s friend. Cloudy yellow. Aroma of graininess, vegetables, overripe fruits, a smoky note, a bit of spiciness. Slightly swetish flavor, with bread, yeast, graininess, some spiciness, fruitiness, and a vegetal touch. Quite light-bodied.

Draught. Slightly cloudy dark amber with very small frothy beige head, citrus aroma, low carbonation, caramel taste, slightly sweet longish caramel finish. A good brew.

12 oz bottle poured to pint glass. Murky, yeasty light gold color with medium head. Picked this up because I read that the brewer claims he created Two Hearted when he worked for Bell’s. This beer is okay, but it doesn’t run with Two Hearted. Nice malt/hop balance with just the right citrus kick for an IPA. finish is bitter, but yeasty.

Refrigerated 12 oz. refrigerated brown bottle from clownoiseur poured into a weizen glass. The bottle is labeled as the hef with a red minature dauchsund dressed as Hugh Hefner. Slightly hazy golden with medium bright whtie head. Aroma is rainy banana, medium body, medium/well carbonation, and good small-bubble lacing. Taste is banana and some clove. Pretty solid.

This Ale poured a dark amber colour with a nice, tan coloured head. Scents include malt, light ripe fruit and caramel. First sip was smooth with medium/low carbonation. Flavours of caramel and very light hop with very little bitterness. Finish is malty with caramel and light hop flavours lingering.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of grass and grains with a bit of hay underlying. Flavor has more a sweet biscuit start that mellows in to a bread and grain finish.

On tap. Pours a near clear amber brown with visible catbonation ant a brown head that lasts throughout the beer and laces nicely. Aroma has sweet grains that are backed by dark bread and a slight hint of roasted malts. Flavor has lots of bread and a big of sweetness with a mellow finish.
