Description
In 1872 Friedrich Eder, the founder of the brewery, acquired the brewery and restaurant "Zum Ochsen", which has been known since 1779. This was the nucleus of today's brewery in Grossostheim. In the following decades the company grew steadily.
Since 1999 the Schlappeseppel beers are brewed here.

Bottle 500ml.Clear light to medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light malty, cardboard, moderate citrus - lemon. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light acidic with a average duration, malty, lemon - citrus, cardboard notes. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20110415]

Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, moderate cola, light to modersate sugar, light brown sugar. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration, cola vingumie (candy). Mein Schloßberg Pils ist hergestellt für die „Schloßberg Getränke GmbH“ in Aschaffenburg und stammt wohl aus Großostheim. Mild bitterer Antrunk mit leichter Würzigkeit, die sich mit der Zeit in eine moderate Herbe wandelt. Zum Ende hin wird das Bier interessanter da die Anzahl der Aromen zunimmt, eine leichte, aber angenehme Hopfigkeit kommt ebenso dazu wie eine eine süße Holzigkeit. Angenehmes Standard-Pils. 9/9/8/8/7/8
