Description
We are a family-owned, independent craft brewery with taproom and full-service BBQ eatery located in Monroe, Ohio. At Rivertown, we believe in brewing traditional and innovative craft beer and slow-smoking BBQ in a way that encourages connection, and conversation.
We aren't defined by one style of beer, because at our brewery, we brew a touch of everything from traditional, technically-sound, delicate lagers to spontaneously fermented and intentionally blended barrel-aged sours and every style in between. When it comes to our BBQ, we draw inspiration from many different styles, including St. Louis, Texas, the Carolinas, but most importantly, our juicy, slow-smoked BBQ is inspired by our Team's creativity and you.
Rivers have always been the heart of community, innovation and activity; come enjoy our interpretation of a Rivertown, where tradition, innovation and flavor is blended with community, caring and tenacity to create a noteworthy and memorable experience.

Bottle. Deep golden body. Fizzy white head, slowly diminishing. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, sweet malts, plastic. You know this is going to be a sweet beer at first sniff. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium to full body, sticky texture and moderate carbonation. The taste of mostly grapefruit and orange juice with a lingering bitterness. Easy drinking and pleasantly sweet. By far, best beer Iβve had from this brewery.

Bottle. Clear, deep amber body with a frothy, off-white head, slowly diminishing. Spiced aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, with notes of caramel and toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Medium body, watery turning sticky texture, moderate carbonation. The spice overpowers the other characteristics this beer may have making it pretty much a one-dimensional spice bomb. No thanks.

Thanks to JaBier for sharing a bottle. The beer is a clear reddish-amber color with a medium foamy off-white head that diminishes slowly. Small patches of lacing. Sweetly spicy aroma with notes of cinnamon and ginger plus some caramel. Medium body with flavors of cinnamon, malt and vanilla. The finish is sweet with honey and cinnamon left behind. Above average seasonal from Rivertown overall.

Bottle thanks to soboleg. Pours a cloudy earthy gold with an off-white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has scream nice funk note with some sour fruits and a bit of backing sweetness. Flavor has funk (barnyard) with a bit of sourness that melds with a sweet fruit finish.
