On tap at Ex Novo, pours a cloudy bright pinkish red with a small white head. Aroma brings out the floral hibiscus notes upfront, with a hint of fruity esters. Flavour is fruity and floral, with lots of hibiscus upfront, a touch of red fruitiness and esters. Not an authentic saison by any means, but it works well enough.

On tap at Ex Novo, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of saison yeast, fruity esters and a hint of the fruit. Flavour is very fruity, with the kumquats dominating, followed by lots of esters and saison yeast. Not an authentic saison by any means - too estery and sweet. Not my thing.

On tap at Ex Novo, pours jet black with a small light brown head. Aroma is decadent, smelling like a rich raspberry chocolate cake, with a hint of roast. Flavour is robust, with much more roasted malt than the nose suggests, followed by raspberries and chocolate. Healthy hoppy bitterness in there too that makes this a bit more abrasive than it needs to be. All in all, very good.

On tap at Ex Novo, pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out toasted nuts and a hint of caramel. Flavour is rather spicy, with toasted nuts, earthy notes and spiciness. Appropriately constructed, but a little too spicy for me. Okay.

On tap at Ex Novo, pours an opaque bright yellow with a small white head. Aroma is very fruity and juicy, with tropical fruity hops and soft biscuity malt. Flavour brings out heaps of lacto that dominates, accentuated with tropical fruitiness and tart citrus. Appropriately tart, citric and yogurty, and in good balance. Very nice stuff.

On tap at Ex Novo, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out floral, dank hops upfront, with a biscuity malt base. Flavour is along the same lines, with an odd floral dank hop character and biscuity malt base. A bit of an odd balance here - the flavours don't come together too well. Meh.

On tap at Ex Novo, pours a cloudy peachy pink with a small white head. Aroma brings out a nice mix of cactus, lacto and tart citrus. Flavour is along the same lines, with tart citrusy cactus notes upfront, followed by a fair bit of lacto. Rather acidic and there isn't much harmony here. It's okay.
