330 ml bottle. Deep golden body with a nice off-white head. Aroma has malt and light caramel. Flavor is sweet malt with a hint of alcohol, not much bitterness. Medium body. It’s suppose to be a Dunkel, but I think it’s just like a strong pilsner with some caramel malt. Compared to the regular San Miguel this is better, but it does not say much. It’s actually drinkable and really not bad if the options is boring Spanish lagers.

0.33l bottle. It pours a clear golden body with a few white floaters and a small sidesticking bubbly lager head. Aroma is grainy, a little bit of citrus and some OK hints of alcohol. Lively carbonated, it's quite light-bodied and has a mils oily to watery mouthfeel. Flavors are not exactly spectacular; some watery hops, quite grainy and it ends with a light sour hint in the finish. Perhaps some watery-alcohol notes in the aftertaste as well. Not a beer I'll ever drink again.

Plain and simple, decent beer. Maybe a little watery, dull and not much taste, but that’s with all those sort of beers. Nothing special about it, just an easy to drink pilsener.

Bottle. Amber coloured beer with a strong head. The aroma is malty and dry, and the flavour is very bitter at the finish with a fortied like malty body. Overall a reasonable strong lager, maybe a bit too strong.

Can from Eroski Supermarket, Logrono, La Rioja, Northern Spain 02.07.11 consumed outside Frank at Camping Barenas, nr Santo de la Calzederas, La Rioja, Spain 02.07.11 Pours gold with a white head, metallic edge noted straight away, maltiness also picked up. Bit dry at the end with a light bitterness. This just about did the job but that is one of the few positives that I could take from this beer. A5 A4 T6 P2 Ov11 2.8

Bottled, from Madrid. Clear golden, flocky head. Grainy fruity nose. Medium bodied with clean hard mouthfeel. Slight notes of honey, but mostly barren and hard. Light resiny bitterness. Just a strongish industrial lager.
