Can. Golden lager with a thin white head. Good carbonation. Aroma of malt, grass and cardboard. Good malt cereal in mouth, tarnished by the oxidation. Very decent body for the style. Annoying little metallic bitterness. Bought in Peguera, Spain.

Beautiful gold color, creamy head. Quite malty aroma and flavor, good body structure, high final bitterness. Not bad…

Blond color; creamy head. Very light aroma; the taste is maltier than usual, and of course the final bitterness quite long.

Pale blond color. Reasonable malty aroma and taste, balanced body, high ending bitterness. One of the few organic beers that are not worse than the regular.

Bottled. Pale yellowish golden, mediumsized white bubbly head. Malt and hops in aroma. Malty, strong taste with notes of bitterness. Not much aftertaste.

Can. Full malt aroma. Dark yellow color with little head. Sweet grain flavor - quite a bit of bitterness but not a pleasant bitterness - no good.

1 liter bottle (probably the best way to drink this). Slightly sweet malt with a tad of skunkiness. Clear light yellow color. Light malt flavor with medium carbonation. Decent palate. Not as good in can or small bottles - better on the beach but then again, what beer isn’t. Try it if you’re in Spain, otherwise probably not worth your time.

This gets a 8 because Estrella got a 7, and because it’s nothing special. I drank it after Estrella, and it was a breath of fresh air (or antioxidants in this case), the taste had a bite I enjoyed, but when I tried it again later (6 of us got a sixpack, everyone got a can), it didn’t taste as good (well, it almost didn’t had any taste at all, just the bite), and everyone agreed that we shouldn’t buy this again. Update: Did a little research. E-300 is Ascorbic acid, better known as Vitamin C. Which is OK, I guess, but E-224 is something called Potassium metabisulphite, a preservative, which is also a possible alergent. Which doesn’t sound so nice.

Well, this wasn’t as bad as some other n/a’s I tried while in Spain. Good for thirst, yeah, and the funny thing was that the store I bought it in kept it in the cooler with soft drinks. Which it almost is.
