Description
After 700 years, the Aktienbrauerei is the last representative of the Kaufbeurer brewing tradition that started in 1308 under the name "Zur Goldenen Traube". The brewery has been owned by the Walch family since 1799. At its current location, the beer cellar was built in 1807, and the company was converted into a stock corporation in 1885. This made the Kaufbeuren stock brewery one of the first stock companies in Bavaria. In the second half of the 19th century, the brewery was the most important brewery in the city.

Typical german wheat appearance. Not the pure strong hefe as other wheats. Bit more hoppy and not so grainy. Quite watery taste. Average wheat.

Walks right down the middle for the style - a little malt, but not too much; a touch of dryness, but only a touch. Lacking in assertiveness, this would be okay as a quick pint after work, but not much else.
