Light copper color with soapy head and retention. Aroma is very herbal without much else showing. Medium to lighter in body with a lingering herbal finish that hangs for a good duration after the sip. Could this resumable a healing tonic from the early part of the 1900’s? perhaps, simple, straight forward and well made.

Amber color with foamy white head. Aroma of toasted grain and caramel/malt light yeast. Flavor is really nice of a simple bitter. Toasted grain, English malts with a light herbal finish. Very easy to drink and perfect for the warm season.

On tap @ the brewery during San Francisco 7/7/14 beer tour. Pours a deep reddish brown appearance with a dark brown head. Roasted coffee, milky, cream, coffee aroma. I suppose the oysters come through a lot more in the flavor. Dark chocolate. Roasted coffee. Earth. Drinks maybe better than anything here.

On tap @ the brewery during San Francisco 7/7/14 beer tour. Pours a copper orange appearance with a light brown head. Some dms, cooked veggie in the aroma with a bit of toast but the aroma is pretty bland beyond the veggies. Pretty high sweetness. High carbonation. Some caramel and toffee notes. This one needs some work.

On tap @ the brewery during San Francisco 7/7/14 beer tour. Pours a reddish brown appearance with a light brown head. Slight butterscotch, caramel, light chocolate nose. Carbonation is a little high. Pretty spritzy. Some butter. Nice caramel flavor. Again, this could use some minor tweaking and it would be a fine beer.

On tap @ the brewery during San Francisco 7/7/14 beer tour. Pours a burnt orange appearance with a tan head. Kind of bland aroma with a bit of orange citrus, herbal hops, and caramel. Pretty high carbonation. Earthy, herbal, toasted malty flavor. Not offensive but could use some tweaking.

On tap @ the brewery during San Francisco 7/7/14 beer tour. Pours a clear golden appearance with a white head. Cauliflower, cooked corn, straw aroma. Sweet, grainy, cooked cauliflower flavor. OK, it’s not good but it’s at least not gag inducing.

On tap @ the brewery during San Francisco 7/7/14 beer tour. Pours a deep brown appearance and a dark brown head. Anise, plum, dark chocolate, light coffee, grape aroma. Body is a bit thin. Fairly sweet. Heavy on the dark fruit. Lots of licorice and raisins. Slightly burnt flavor. Ok.

On tap @ the brewery during San Francisco 7/7/14 beer tour. Pours a golden orange appearance with an off white head. Spicy, bitter, piney hoppy nose. No diacetyl offered! Sheesh. Some grapefruit. Medium body. Balanced bitterness/sweetness. A bit of tropical fruits. Pretty clean but it’s not that interesting.
