20/1/2024. Bottle shared at CLBF/IKL. From MK Biergarten, Wolverton. Pours close to black with a small tan coloured head. Aroma of dark malts, chocolate, liquorice, coffee, toffee, biscuit, black treacle, molasses. Moderate sweetness, medium plus roasted bitterness. Quite full bodied, smooth, soft carbonation. Increasingly boozy finish. Very good.

Bottle from MK Biergarten, Wolverton. Pours black with a huge beige head. Way overcarbed, took an eternity to pour. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, light coffee. Taste: moderate sweet & prominent roast bitterness. Medium body with excessive carbonation. I didn't get any hoppy element here, it was more stout than BIPA to my taste. The roasted malt vibe was very prominent
