Robust black coffee. Bitter chocolate. Certainly vanilla. Really well rounded porter. Actually quite impressed with this. So much body. Perfect dessert before heading home.

Sweet. Rather nutty, especially the hazelnut. That’s in spades. Bit of heat from the cinnamon. Don’t get much coffee, but it’s there. Reminds me of a liquid candy bar. Diabetes stout, but a wonderful one.

Draft at Brick Farm, 11/4/22. My 2000th NJ rating, and it's a damn good one from the state's hype king. This goes out to GTL, Taylor Ham & Pork Roll, bad Soprano's imitations, The Boss, Fist Pumps, NYC inferiority complexes, and Bon Jovi. Dark brown, light brown head. Sweet caramel, chocolate, brown sugar, and coffee aroma. Flavor more coffee forward. Sweet, but not overly so. Very smooth. Really nice. 8/4/9/4/18

Draft at Brick Farm, 11/4/22. Hazy yellowish, juicy peach, melon, apricot, and mango. Sweet, but with enough bitterness. Smooth with a touch of ABV burn. Troon hoppy characteristics for sure. I used to be cynical, I still am, but I used to be, too. 9/4/8/4/16

Super fruity and wonderful hop presence. Ultra creamy. No hop burn, or pepper kick like the last one, and this is from last Wednesday. Bonafide superstar beer. Top drawer. Thanks NFB!

On tap at Brick Farm Tavern in Hopewell, NJ. Number one with a bullet. Opaque black pour. Dark tan ring. Roasted malt and coffee nose. Dark malt and bittersweet chocolate flavor. Notes of dark roast coffee, licorice and vanilla. Earthy, roasty and sweet. Flavor improves as brew warms. Really well made.
